Joe Race started The Allen Thomas Group in 2003 as an independent insurance agency headquartered in Akron, Ohio. For more than two decades the agency has helped contractors find coverage that matches how their businesses actually run.

Electrician Insurance Group is the agency's dedicated home for electrical contractors. The agency holds insurance licenses in 28 states and works with 12+ A-rated carriers, which lets our team compare markets rather than sell a single company's policy.

How our team keeps this site current

Before anything here goes live, and again whenever it changes, a licensed member of our team reads it against current carrier forms and state rules. That covers:
